Just read an article about your book in the guardian online. [I found it because apparently they are going to move his grave along with thousands of others - train works] Your research seems to be fascinating. Have you ever thought about collaborating with a screenwriter and turning your novel into a screenplay for a film. The story of this guy's life and the people he interacted with from all walks of society at this time would make an amazing film. I can even recommend the British actor Howard Charles (3 Musketeers/Porthos) to play him in mid-life. He projects the right amount of toughness and intelligence and has good screen presence.
